The H1B visa is one of the most common working non-immigrant visa sought by those who are professionals who want to work in the United States. However, the H1B visa comes with a of “strings attached.” One of the most common fear of the H1B holder is to be terminated or laid-off. Unfortunately at this point in time, there is no grace period for those who are on H1B and their dependents when they are to be laid off. They can actually transfer before the termination is completed, but it is very problematical. The issues and possible solutions are addressed in this video.
